START AIN - COLL DE LA ÍBOLA  (Km 6,8)

Distance: 6,8 km. +705 | -392

The route begins with a loop through the beautiful village of Aín, to stretch the bulk of runners. After leaving Aín and crossing the CV200, begins a very slow climb in one of the most beautiful areas of the race, which will take us along the path of Canyaret towards Penya Pastor and Finestra. First part of steep slope that crosses several rocks and ends in a climb without exposure. It is followed by a cresting area with vegetation of high ecological value up to the pico Espadán. The last part of this section is a descent with a very technical start that in just over 2km leads to the refreshment point at the Coll de La Íbola.

COLL DE LA ÍBOLA - CASA MOSQUERA (Km 14)

Distance: 6,8 km. +536 | -667

We cross the CV200 again and go up the PR that leads to Cerro Gordo, a short but hard climb. The descent, technical at first, but gradually becomes smoother, leads to the Barranc de la Caritat, through the Barranc de les Hortetes, an area of great beauty. In the Barranc de la Caritat there is a control point with a time limit, and it is also a good point for companions since it has an easy access on foot from Aín.From the Barranc de La Caritat, we go up the Barranc del Roig, a biological reserve area marked from start to finish, where we must be very careful to preserve a protected species of ferns. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the race, always surrounded by lush wetland vegetation. A gentle path leads us to the Coll de L'Ereta, where we start a technical descent through spectacular cork oak groves, to the Casa Mosquera, where the refreshment area is located.

CASA MOSQUERA - COLL DE BARRES (Km 18,8)

Distance: 4,1 kM. +465 | -353

From La Casa Mosquera, we go about 300 meters along a track until we find a zigzagging path with a moderate slope that leads to a short cresting area, with views of the rocky Carrascal. Then we descend to a pass where the very hard ascent to Penya Blanca begins, with slopes that reach up to 70% and a lot of broken stone. Once we reach the peak, we begin an area of gentle cresting, very visual, until we reach a path to the left, through which we make a very fast descent to the refreshment area of Coll de Barres.

COLL DE BARRES - FINISH LINE AIN (Km 20,7)

Distance: 3,7 km. +331 | -625

This section begins with a short climb that leads to the Alto de la Batalla or Benialí, an open area with little vegetation, which offers a stunning view of almost the entire route, with Aín to the left and Eslida to the right. A brief crest and a quick, vertical descent begins along a local path, with loose stones and a certain amount of danger, between ferns and maritime pines. After 2km downhill, there is a crossing where, to the left, there is a path that will take us to Aín. Entering the village by an asphalted track towards the Font de Sant Ambrós and the Lavadero, and then the finish line, to enjoy your condition of fínisher of the Mitja d'Aín!
